Effective communication is all about conveying your messages to other people clearly and unambiguously. It's also about receiving information that others are sending to you, with as little distortion as possible. Doing this involves effort from both the sender of the message and the receiver. Communication skills, including written and oral presentations, as well as an ability to work with others, are the main factor contributing to job success. Being able to communicate effectively is therefore essential if you want to build a successful career. At management level, effective communication skills are used to create an environment of open communication, short messages, recognize nonverbal signals and mutual understanding.
To facilitate the students strengthen their communication and collaboration skills and work confidently with others we at IIMT have designed a unique course to enable our students to communicate effectively in the present corporate scenario.
In this course, through interactive workshops, self-assessments, role-playing activities and video simulations, IIMT provides the students with practical experience initiating and responding to various forms of communication. Students are taught to handle situations based on a flexible, genuine and self-confident approach. They also gain the skills to collaborate with others and hone their communications toolkit.
