IDEA Foundation has been established in year 2003 as a 'Not For Profit Organization' under Section 25 of the Companies Act 1956 with a view to promote quality education in Gujarat, India. IDEA Foundation has objective to inculcate a spirit of social relevance among young students. IDEA Foundation is fast growing, technology driven organization which has implemented advanced management solutions for managing it's diverse operations and uses state-of the-art latest technologies like Voice over IP (VoIP) and VSAT to enhance quality of education.

The promoters of IDEA Foundation started educational activities in year 2000 as Compro Soft-Tech Pvt. Ltd. as franchisee of Sikkim Manipal University (Manipal IT Education) and in very short span of time, it achieved status of University Center for Sikkim Manipal University in year 2001. At present we are having more than 400 students pursuing various programs offered by Sikkim Manipal University and IDEA Foundation. Since its inception, more than 1200 students have been benefited from this initiative.

Experienced professors, who are familiar with corporate realities and utilization of management skills at its best, lead the educational activities. We also invite experts and achievers from the corporate world to share their experiences with the participants. Successful application of the most up-to-date management knowledge can only take place once a manager understands the 'undefined rules of game'. Using case studies as a basis along with simulation games and role-plays, the faculties here at IDEA Foundation describe what actually works or doesn’t and which are the distinctive features need to be considered while implementing successful management.

IDEA Foundation is initiating a world class management course under the banner of its initiative 'Idea Institute of Management' which will enable the participants to become 'Industry-Ready manager'.

The Foundation plans to start many such educational projects in the future.
